Starting September 30, 2026, you will no longer be able to create new products on eBay using the old version of the eBay Integration plugin as eBay has officially deprecated the UploadSiteHostedPictures API call.
QUOTE: This call has been deprecated and will be decommissioned on September 30th, 2026.
Check eBay API Documentation for details.
In order to keep using eBay Addon and be able to upload new products to eBay, please update Store Manager and addon to the latest version.
eBay integration addon (new) allows you to submit feeds to eBay. eBay will map products by SKU. If the same product is in the database already, it will be updated. If new product is found, it will be created.
eBay have changed the way products are stored and identified on their side recently. So if you have uploaded your products using older version of eBay integration, you will not be able to map those products to the new products using feed.
The difficulty in mapping old eBay listings to the new system is caused by a fundamental architectural shift: eBay transitioned from a listing-centric database (driven by eBay Item IDs) to an inventory-centric database (driven by SKUs/Custom Labels). Because legacy listings lack the relational structure, unique product identifiers, and validation flags required by the modern SKU system, old products cannot be automatically mapped to new ones without generating severe data conflicts. You can find more about the new SKU-driven identification at: https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/user-guides/static/trading-user-guide/skus.html
If you do not need to keep the old listings, we would recommend you to delete them (old listings and old products on eBay directly) and resubmit a new feed with the new eBay plugin.
If for any reason you would need to keep your old listing, you can keep old products on eBay and submit only new products with the new Addon using the new feed. Old listing will not be removed yet.
