I have multistore set up in both Presta 1.5.2 stores. I've set up the connection wizard for the second store and all is connecting.

Question is how can I easily transfer products from one store to the other, or categories etc

At the moment I am doing it this way:

* Go to default store
* Copy category
* Quick connection switch to second store
* Paste category and products (control click to add multiples)

Is this the best way. When I right click and say at product to shop/s it only gives me the default shop I'm in rather than all shops available.

Hello David,

Thank you for your question.

In case you're talking about PrestaShop multistore database: http://screencast.com/t/1YAA4LVldRC
you can simply select the products you need, then jump to Shop Associations tab and associate the selected products to the exact store, or store group or even to all stores: http://screencast.com/t/nZb3XQHyx8H

The same can be done with categories. Select the ones you need then click at one of them with right mouse button and choose Associate with Shop(s): http://screencast.com/t/kHon7BJSegU

In case you have multiple stores that have different databases, and you switch between the connection: http://screencast.com/t/0zFSSvAXN then the best way to transfer your products is Export and Import operations.
You can find a detailed instructions on how to export and import products in the articles below:

Hi Volodymyr, I tried the first few ways you mentioned but yes I have two mysql databases set up. I should be right with the import/export option. Thanks David

Thanks for your repost.

Yes, the most convenient option in your case is export and import feature of the Store Manager.
