I am using PrestaShop v. 1.5.1.0 with the latest version of Store Manager 30 day trial. I have placed images on a folder on my local drive and included the image names in the csv under Product Images as well as included the correct path in the import images / default images path.. After I import the csv I can see the images in the lower right hand corner of Store Manager. I also did it again and added a full website url to the csv directly to my pictures folder located on my remote website. After import I can see the pictures in the lower right hand corner of Store Manager as well. In either case the pictures do no show up on the store website I also have a direct mySQL connection.connection.

Hello Robert,

You're using the latest version of PrestaShop shopping cart however it is operated by an old storage system which is not supported by Store Manager for PrestaShop.

To switch to the new image system, go to the Preferences > Images tab and click the "Move images" button. Depending on how many product images you have, it may take a while to move them all into subdirectories:

Once it's finished, go to the Preferences > Products tab and change the "Activate legacy images compatibility" option at the bottom of the page to "No" to use the new image system:

Thank you for reply.

Actually the images should be displayed automatically.

However you should try to reimport products with images once more.

If the issue remains, please submit a ticket here: http://support.emagicone.com/submit_ticket so we could check your issue personally and advise you on this regard.
We're looking forward to hearing from you.

Confirmed - problem still exists - and in the new prestashop 1.5.4.1 the option to choose between legacy and new image storagesystem is removed. So image import from older prestashop installations is not possible?

Hello Dan,

Yes, the PrestaShop 1.5.4.1 version support only non-legacy file system (a new system), so there is no possibility to switch the storage type.
The installation will use a new system already.

You have to make sure that the FTP connection is configured correctly in the Store Manager > Preferences(F12) > FTP tab (pay your attention at the store root directory path).

Also please make sure that you're using the correct import options.

You can find a detailed instructions on how to import images from the local folder here:
http://store-manager-for-prestashop-documentation.emagicone.com/how-to/upload-images-while-importing-products

And how to import product images from the external URL's:

If the issue remains, please submit a ticket here: http://support.emagicone.com/submit_ticket so we could request your FTP access details and check it for you.
