Something like this will be implemented in next Release of Store Manager.
It calls - Thumbnail image preview. You will be able to view small images and zoomed pictures exactly on the Product Grid.

Such implementation already has been implemented in another our software - Store Manager for OpenCart, Store Manager for VirtueMart, Store Manager for Magento.
Store Manager for PrestaShop will be next. :-)
