I am suggesting when we run Store Diagnostics for Products without Images - instead of deleting them, we have the capability to make the items inactive. With this added function, we could add graphics to the inactive records, without images and them make them active through some means of a filter of records that are inactive.

How do you see the possibility of disabling product images in the database and Prestashop logic ?
There are no such options in PrestaShop engine (enable or disable images)

I see it working like this - run the diag to show items without images. Then run again and instead of choosing Delete - Choose Inactive and set decheck available for order from the Main Tab. Then post to website. This will make the item inactive in Presta and now show the item when searched from the front end.
To edit items that are inactive - from Store Front - have a drop down Filter to select inactive items to allow editing of them which can then be posted to Presta.

In this case it's better to hide or turn off status of products from store which were located without images.
