Is it possible to import a csv with a virtual product? Also is it possible to import a csv with images that are in subfolders? I can import an image that is in the root, but can't seem to get subfolders to import.

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your post.

Currently the Store Manager does not allow to import a virtual product with the file, however you're welcome to submit a request at: http://prestashop-manager.betaeasy.com/ and we will consider it in future.

Concerning product images. You see, PrestaShop shopping cart uses a specific storage system which uploads product images to the specific folders at store root/img/p/x/x...

Store Manager for PrestaShop allows to import product images that are located at the local folder or at the external source (URL is required).
You're welcome to find a detailed instructions on how to import product images in the articles below:

Feel free to contact us with additional questions.

Good morning,
When mass importing or editing mixed real and virtual products in the catalog via feed, how do I map a product to indicate it as virtual?
the "is virtual" field is not present.
I have already followed the various articles in the forum, but the indications given do not work, at least as regards changing the products from real to virtual ones.

Hello Perrone,

Thank you for your comment

At the moment this field cannot be imported. We have offered you a workaround via email. This specific field is used in PS version 1.6. In case other customers need to import virtual products on v. 1.6, please contact us via e-mail for free assistance.

PrestaShop versions starting from 1.7 include a product type field that can be imported and exported.
