Right now the application allows both export and import of Categories, Products, Customers, but orders can only be Exported. I think it'd be a great feature if you could also import these orders back.

we would be using this feature to move our data from our old version of the store to the new (latest) one, but i'm sure this could be used for other purposes as well (such as adding multiple orders at once)

This is very important task for us.
Its matter of time.I hope to implement import of order in 2016.
For example - right now we are working on Magento Store Manager Orders Import.
All the same will be for PrestaShop Store Manager.

It's the last bit of the puzzle for me atleast, I have all the data in two files (tab sep. txt files) - one for order header and one with order rows (Products, numbers of units, price and so on). I would even be interested to place an order for that delevopment or atleast support the development of it.

Right now Prestashop Orders Import in our to-do list and waiting for a place in the line of new features.
It's reasonable to implement manual import - as first stage of implementation.
After that, we'll try to collect user's comments and suggestion according to orders import.

It depends on Official Release of PrestaShop 1.7 . When stable official release will be done. In this case, we'll try to implement 1.7 support asap.

At the first - we are working on Import of PrestaShop orders feature right now.
So, after official release you'll be export - import PrestaShop orders by Store Manager.
We've added some list of IDs for orders (for customers it will be: email , customer's id)
In this Release identification by phones is not included.
But we are ready for your comments and suggestions.
Do you want to add separate feature - identification by phone number as a Feature request ? Please let me know - I'll create this topic instead of you.
