When using the program, everything is loading so very slow.
When updating a product, or select a category with products loading time is way to slow.
Is this a thing of the program it self or what can it be?

Probably you're using Direct connection through HTTP Tunnel which is the slowest connection method, intended to be used on servers which do not allow direct connection or prohibit method Post (required by Bridge).
You should try to configure database connection using Bridge Connector (like for PrestaShop Cloud, however, it works with self-hosted solutions as well), which does not require FTP connection and uploads product images up to 20x times faster.
