I am a Systems Analyst with Sage Products, and have elicited the help of a Web Designer to produce a website onto which we will be adding a Prestashop Web Store. My question is this - he is hosting my store. Where is the Magic software to be installed? On my server, or his? I'm afraid of what could happen if he leaves the country, or decides to block us, or ? Where should I install this software? I know - I'm paranoid, but this is my bread and butter, and I don't want any accidents to happen. Thank you!

Hello Lise,

Thank you for your post.

The Store Manager for PrestaShop is a desktop application that operated with the remote MySQL database.
Once you install the Store Manager, you have to configure a database connection.

You're welcome to use the Database Connection Wizard:
