You may use the Connection Wizard in order to configure the Bridge Connector connection to your local database.
Also, you can connect to your database directly using the access details to your local database:

Store Manager works with the embedded local databases by the following path:
C:\Users\*Windows Username*\AppData\Local\eMagicOne Store Manager for PrestaShop\LocalMySQLData\data

Store Manager allows only one database path for embedded databases.
In case you're running WAMP or XAMPP or any other local server you can move the database directory to the convenient location, as the application will reach the database through the database host (127.0.0.1 or localhost).

In case you would like to use the Embedded database of Store Manager, it will be stored by the following path:
C:\Users\*Windows Username*\AppData\Local\eMagicOne Store Manager for PrestaShop\LocalMySQLData\data
The location of the Embedded local database cannot be changed
