In Prestashop administration, when you add an attribute and you select type "color", you can add a texture to this attribute.
Then you can select this texture from your computer.
I've done some caps:

By the way, one of my main reasons to but Store Manager was its killer importing and exporting habilities. Store Manager is currently the ONLY way to import my 3500+ product database from Excel into my online shop. So keep this advantage up to date, if you finally add the option to upload ATTRIBUTE images, you also may consider the ability to IMPORT/UPLOAD them from a CSV file, exactly the same way the program currently does with PRODUCT images.
Prestashop CSV import just does not support importing attribute images (i.e. "textures"), which is a real pain. I have seen this product request at Prestashop forums from 2010. IMHO, managing, importing/uploading attribute images would make Store Manager a total must-have for large online shops, especially fashion, beauty and interior design-orientated, with lots of color combinations.
