Hi, I have two bridge connections set up but only the default store (live site) shows under the store selection. How can I set up store manager to have the default store plus one showing? Help appreciated!

Hello Stefanie,

Thank you for your post.

The Store Manager allows to work only with one database at a time. In case you have 2 separate databases, you will not be able to work simultaneously.

However you can create a second shop using the PrestaShop multistore feature, so you could have two stores running on one database. In this case, you will be able to manage both of them simultaneously through the Store Manager for PrestaShop.

Hi Volodymyr,
Ok, it seems that my test site for design purposes and the live site will have to use the same database? I don't have two physical separate stores. Just test site and live site. I will see if it works if I set up the test site using the same database. But why does the store manager show the option of a default store?

Thank you for your repost.

It looks like you're talking about the store configuration name: "Embedded (Default Sample Store)": http://screencast.com/t/VtLzZ7pj123B
In this case you can rename the store configuration anytime you need: http://screencast.com/t/jDl1viRZO8ZG

And if I misunderstood you, please provide me with the screen captures (where you can see the default database), so I could advise you on this regard.
