Can you add the option in Import Products by SUPPLIER REFERENCE.
or if above is impossible.
Re-enable alpha characters in the EAN13 and UPC fields so my work around below will continue to work.

In many cases I have price lists to update product pricing and stock from different suppliers with the same Reference (Manufacturers Code) and Product names and can't Import/Update unless I use Supplier Reference to separate the suppliers and leave the non relevant products disabled. Most of my suppliers don't use EAN13 or UPC.

WORK AROUND I was using to allow importing via Supplier Reference:
I used to use the EAN13 and or UPC import option to put my supplier reference to overcome this importation limitation. NOT correct use of EAN13 or UPC BUT WORKED GREAT.

In the previous update to store manager you have prevented using Alpha characters in EAN13 and UPC this now prevents me from importing via supplier reference work around because it drops of the Alpha characters and your left with a few random numbers. (You can allow alpha in EAN13 and UPC in prestashop and extend the length with very minor mod to the classes/validate.php)

Please Vote for this if you feel you would benefit from and extra import field in Importing of Products

so we've removed this option from import

Well, according to new method of identification.
According to our Policy, we implement a new features according to the volume of customer votes.

What can be done to rectify this (add supplier reference) or roll back the removal of this import option you made ?

I have no option to import and update products now.

Happy to change or modify a file.

Issues that I will reintroduce.
Product search by supplier reference did not work and user could not reach necessary products using search form. Now product search works properly and "supplier reference" can be used as the field to search text in
Product quantity is now calculated accurately if Advanced Stock Management option is enabled
If Newsletter Date Add and Last Password Generated fields were assigned, customer import did not run. New version of Store Manager for PrestaShop eliminates this inconvenience and flawlessly imports customer info
Previously order total was not calculated, if product quantity was changed in POS. Now total is calculated properly
Access Violation occurred if at the moment of order editing Internet connection was lost. This has been fixed in new PrestaShop Manager version
Data was not deleted from ps_order_detail_tax table if PrestaShop order was removed. Now details are being cleared from this table
Product prices at different shops could change after import, even if prices were not updated in the course of data upload. This has been fixed and now prices do not change spontaneously
Product filter was reset if Store Manager language was changed. Now filter remains the same when one changes the language
Newly-created category was not active and user still saw the products from other category. Now new category becomes active and user can see empty product grid

Now tags are updated properly for products that already have tags - existing tags are replaced with those, provided in the file. Previously they were added as new tags
Product updates performed with Mass Product Changer now are applied to shops properly
