Hopefully the title makes sense. Currently it only does this one way but it would save time if it could be two way e.g. When working with item X, we make item Y it's accessory, automatically, Store Manager should associate item Y with the accessory item X.

I've just looked at the database. It looks like it associates id_product_1 e.g. ID "35" = Red top, with id_product_2 e.g. ID "4" = Red shoes. So i guess this way, in the red top product page, it will show the shoes as an accessory. So is there a way to automatically reverse this so id_product_1 = ID "4" (the red shoes), and id_product_2 = ID "35" (the red top), so that in the red shoes page, the red top is the accessory? I'm not that experienced with MySql so i'm not sure about rules. Would it need to be a trigger or something?

we can have mp3 player <---> headphones.
Main question: what limit of products do you want to show for each product?.
in this example we have for example 10 mp players and 100 headphones.
I'll discuss with our developer team soon.

Yes, perhaps there should be a special button so that users have the choice to keep it the way it is, or to exchange the product accessories.
Regarding the limit, i don't think this should be a problem because currently the way the accessories are set up, it is the users choice as to how many accessories they add to a product. This feature will only reciprocate the choice they have already made between the products.

Yes this is a nice feature but please don't make it by default because it does not suit all needs.
eg. I want to have 100 headphones with accessories 4 mp3 players, but I don't want mp3 players to have all 100 headphones as accessories. I want to choose only 4 that I want.

This logic will be work in manual mode because of joss_54 comment also. We can't identify all products automatically that's why it's you to you what product to exchange :-)

List of selected products is available for exchange.
