Can't select product category - reverts back to ROOT

I've used your program for years through various version of PrestaShop. We recently upgrade to PrestaShop 1.7 and are using storemanager 2.30.1 (Build: 1691). When we open storemanager and click on a "category" under the STORE tab, no matter what category we select, it will display the products for about 0.5 secs then, revert back to ROOT category which has no products. How can we fix this issue so we can make mass product changes?
