Look for WP-Config in parent directory

The host I use keeps wp-config in the parent directory of the web root directory. I have to copy it to root in order for WSM to connect and work. Problem is that if I forget about that file it will get copied during a push to the live site and break things. Since WP supports wp-config files in parent directories it would be great if WSM did too.
