Issue with "Suppliers"

Hi,

I noticed there is an issue with the "Suppliers" in the Prestashop Store Manager. On PS 1.4, the supplier is selected on the main properties window ("Main Product Properties" tab in SM), and it works fine. But on PS 1.6, the supplier is no longer selected on that window but instead it is "activated" on the "Suppliers" tab on the Backoffice (since one product can have multiple suppliers). On the SM we also have the "suppliers" tab on PS 1.6 shops where we can activate the the suppliers for each product, BUT the other dropdown selector is still showing on the "main product properties" tab. This dropdown selector is confusing because it does not do anything at all on PS 1.6 shops, so it shouldn't be there. (I don't remember how it was on PS 1.5 since I currently don't run any).

On the other hand, the "Mass product changer" allows to select/change supplier for multiple products with a dropdown selector, but this does not do anything on PS 1.6 shops because of the above mentioned situation. Instead, it should have some kind of checkbox selector, OR if you want to keep the dropdown then the supplier selected there should be "activated" on the suppliers tab automatically.

Confirmed.
This option will be fixed in the current Release. I guess closer to January 2015.

Ok, just a little other thing: on http://www.prestashopmanager.com/store-manager-for-prestashop-roadmap/ it says the release date is in 2016 instead of 2015 (I hope we don't have to wait a whole year for the next update :-S)

Hi, this field was removed from the edit window in the last beta version, but now there is no possible way of assigning a supplier to multiple products simultaneously: the field was removed too from the Mass Product Changer, and selecting multiple products and "activating" the supplier on the lower tab only works for 1 of the products selected.

Any changes on the other lower tabs do apply to all products selected but changes on the 'suppliers' tab do not. Can this be fixed?

Hello Yosh!
We have removed this section from Advanced Modifier (Mass Changer Window) because this option is working in bottom Tab. See screenshot.
In this case we have to build special drop-down box to select necessary supplier in the list.
In this case you don't need to do additional clicks to modify Suppliers in bulk.
It's better - select products and click on Suppliers - you can see list of suppliers and tick on it

Hi, what I was saying exactly is that that option does not work in the bottom tab for multiple selected products. Please test and you will see.
- Select a few products that do NOT have any supplier assigned.
- Then tick one on the bottom tab.

Check products one by one and you will see only the last selected product has enabled the supplier, the others do not have the supplier ticked.

Hello Yosh,
ok. but I'm afraid we'll not be able to add this task in this Release.
I don't want to close this suggestion.
Right now we need to implement PrestaShop Cloud support.
This is our major task.
So, let's return to this suggestion after PrestaShop Cloud support Release.

About the lower tab in suppl1.png , please read previous comment from 5 months ago where you confirmed it is a bug. These are the steps to reproduce again:

- Select a few products that do NOT have any supplier assigned.
- Then tick (enable) a supplier on the bottom tab.

Revise products one by one and you will see only the last selected product has enabled the supplier, the others do not have the supplier ticked.
