One new option which can be useful in Store Manager is to choose what we want to synchronise when we use the bridge connection with our website.
For example, we can have a setting page in the connection wizard that allow us to choose : Description AND/OR Price AND/OR Quantity... and each time we select to get or post the data only the chosen types of data are synchronised.
The reason we had this idea it's because market places access to our website and modify the quantity of our products and in case we are working on one of this product and we post it later, the quantity will be set again as what it was when we get the product. So with this option we can still synchronise our products with Store Manager but the quantity is not synchronise and is manage somewhere else.

This feature is very interesting but only for Bridge connection.
It's better for you to use Direct connection to Store
In this case you don'r send all data during product editing. Only necessary fields

Yes, the trend is to get your PS store with many marketplaces, if the selling is instantly. Then every time the synchronization with be late compare to the real stock qty. We`ve met this problem many times, and this is the major reason that we never active the advanced stock management by using Store manager. imagine the store is connected to amazon and ebay and other market places, after a whole day work on bridge, when he upload the data, he has to find out which products has been sold out among the 1000 SKUs, :)
