Categories tree: see entire path AND Product Search: remember last chosen search fields

Hello,
1) put the case you have the categories tree with Home|Cat1|Cat2 and so on...
it would be really useful IF: when you double click on the latest Cat (in this example Cat2) you can see the entire path as "Home|Cat1|Cat2"
so, it would be really fast to associate categories if you have to use the SQL "when then..." in the Expression editor, you can easily copy/paste the path

2) Product Search function: remember last search fields... that is, eg. you choose to search by categories name, now if you close the window it doesn't remember the last chosen search fields, it always shows "name"
thanks

maybe you wanted to write on the other post? https://support.emagicone.com/714237-Sortsearch-categories

anyway...

as you can see I'm on "Scanner a4" which is the latest category in its main category tree

in the Edit Category window would be really useful to have a copyable text:
Home page|INFORMATICA/HW|Scanner|Scanner A4

If you do so, when someone has to associate many categories from a .csv or .txt file column by the SQL WHEN...THEN..
it's really easy to copy/paste the entire path! ;-)

is it clear now what I mean?
thanks

or.. EVEN better! (...in addition to that)

eg. you are in the importing window, where you compare the database on the left column and the csv file on the right column...

if someone uses the expression editor for the "Category" field on the left,
you could invent a method to integrate the WHEN THEN statements with a dropdown which shows the categories paths...and next to it you could even implement a quick search filter... as two different fields... so, when the user chooses the right category, it writes the entire path "Main|Cat1|Cat2..." in the THEN statement...
so... THEN 'Main|Cat1|Cat2'

I know that this could be a bit more complicated, but maybe it's worth it...think about it
best regards

again, when someone clicks on the editor for "Category" field, in the expression editor you could add a button for this specific function..
eg. button name "Associate/Map Categories"
in the editor could appear a plus button (+)

when you press the + button
it adds:
WHEN [CSV_COL(EDITABLE NUMBER)] = 'EDITABLE FIELD' THEN quick search field, dropdown and so on...
when the user does his choice the fields might disappear and leave the final text only...
then, also the remove button (-) so the user can repeat his actions if needed

this is just an example

thanks for your time, Alessio.
Let's try to create real example.
For example
1) - you have CSV file with the following structure:
- please provide what you have

2) you want to import products by the following fields
- please provide list of fields.

3) You need to do mapping of categories by the following rules : ...
example - product from category AA should be in .....

This example will help to understand complete logics of implementation.
Thanks in advance.

I explain better: the problem mainly borns when some providers don't offer a REAL category tree like
CAT1;CAT2;CAT3 and also when you want to use your PERSONAL category tree. Very important.

So, please, I do a simple logic to avoid uploads:

on the right (csv columns) you have COL1;COL2;COL3;COL4;... and so on

put that you choose any column, eg. COL3

in COL3 there is a simplified category name or other name that you want to use to map categories

eg. in COL3 for a product row there is 'TOSHIBA - PORTEGE'

and you want to map that product TO 'Home page|Hardware|Computers|Notebooks' that is already there on your database.

I think that's easy to understand and hope this helps
