Hi, there's currently the export to .xls button in Store Manager but for my more SMB store it would be great to use it for maintaining pricing and the catalog instead of exporting to .csv then manipulating that but it would be great if it could contain more fields or user defined fields.
For example I would use under Categories & Products, "Show All grouped" then sort by manufacturer (most of our products have one distributor of the manufacturer). Export this view and get all products by the manufacturer including Product reference, description, product URL, price ex tax, inc tax and stock levels.
This way I could quickly make some bulk changes if my pricing changes and to find any info that may be missing like no image URL. If it had my supplier price and sell price I could also quickly move pricing up or down across multiple products withing this manufacturer.
Thanks

Hello David.
I didn't quite catch what do you mean.
You can export all columns from Product \ Category Grid to csv, xls, txt
See screenshot
All you need is to choose what columns to add in the Grid before export.
Thanks Serigy, I've used that but would be good if some more fields were available such as image URL, (H) x (L) x (D), Tags, Description. Would just make it super fast to do some updates easily by manufacturer or supplier. Easy to add missing info such as images.

Thanks for suggestion
This is very complicated realization of this idea.
Something like this we've implemented in another Store Manager (for Magento).
I guess you'd like to choose additional fields and add them to the Product Grid ?
Look at this screenshot.
Hi Sergiy, yes exactly like that to be used for updates and also quickly find missing info in the catalog. Thanks

why would you need an additional button, there is a field choser on top left of the grid. But it's true we miss some key fields. Would be nice to be able to export to xls directly from the export wizard without going through csv anymore. on some desktop configuration it can be a mess and often much work

Hm... this is dilemma....
more fields in Product Grid - slow operation of program.
After this modifications Product Grid will slow down when all or more fields were included

Hi, great addition the image preview in the grid and the fact I can sort by missing images! Will save me a stack of time. Are there a few more fields in the grid also or am I just imaging this? David

By the way - don't miss Store Diagnostics tool in Store Manager !
You can filter images with problems and repair it.
