Hello,
I have this software for a couple of months now and I'm finally finishing the customization of the eshop and also the product import.

One serious and difficult issue is that I have 2 physical shops and I exchange products between them.

What is the best way to work with Prestashop and Store Manager? Should I work with advanced stock management and 2 warehouses or should I work with multiple stores?

I have read that advanced stock management has some issues in presta, does Store Manager support this feature?

If I use MultiStores and if a client orders a product from one store and another product from second store, will it go through the cart normally or will it use it as two orders and add twice shipping?

Can I check different inventory in each MultiStore using the reports?

Thanks in advance for any answer..

Thank you for your interest.

In case you want to synchronize stock with both your stores - the best way would be to setup multistore functionality at Prestashop and to create 2 stores inside 1 Prestashop installation.
Store Manager supports multistore functionality, so you would be able to manage your stores easily.

If you setup multistore at Prestashop, Orders would be created and saved at one place, since 1 database is used, but each order would have identifier, so you could see from what store order was made.

Thank you for your quick answer,
so multistore function is better than advanced stock management?

Does new version of Store Manager support advanced stock? I have updated but didn't try yet.

With multistore we can have 1 order with products from both stores and 1 time shipping fee?
The stores are near each other so if an online order comes I can take products from both stores and send one order.

Thank you for your reply.

At the moment Store Manager does not support advanced stock functionality, so unfortunately we can not provide you with more details on what would be better for you. We are planning to add support of advanced stock in future releases. We can not say for sure what
If you want to manage your store with Store Manager now - it would be better to setup mukltistore

After checking the multi store function I have come to the conclusion that it cannot suit my needs since it does not support shared orders from two individual inventories. I have to choose "Share available quantities to sell" where is uses the inventory as one again.

The only way is to work with advanced stock management feature of the new Prestashop version.

So, do you have a release date where Store Manager can support this feature?

Thanks

Yes, the latest version of the Store Manager for PrestaShop 2.9.1.708 supports the Advanced Stock Management.

You have to make sure that the Advanced Stock Management is enabled in the BO and restart the Store Manager in order to see the Stock tab.

Thanks, great news!

Now the only thing is to update my subscription :)
Will do so in a few days.

I need a third additional license for Manager, is there a discount for both the extra license and the subscription update?

Thanks
