My website has a multi site set up and although you solution connects to my "main" site i don't actually sell anything on this one and it's only used to direct customers to one of my 7 sub sites where the orders are processed. Can you please please add multi site support to your functionality.

P.S. What Multistore Plugin support do you mean?

I have tested your solution with my website. I have a multi site set up so many sites under one url.

I have my main site www.foodtoyourdoor.co.uk. which is a search portal and directs customers to my actual selling sites which are for example Durham.foodtoyourdoor.co.uk & Seaham.foodtoyourdoor.co.uk this is where sales are carried out. When I connect your solution it only "sees" my main site, however I need it to connect to each sub site separately. Is this something you can support. No one takes care of us multi site users:(

Hello, David!

What powers the logic of your multistore?
Do you use any plugin for it?

Thank you!

Multi site setup is part of the core program now in WordPress. When a new WordPress install is started you can choose single or multi install. No plugins are required. I do need to set it up like this but some functions aren't supported. And since each product table is separate when adding new products I have to do this multiple times and it's a big waste of time. This solution would be a great export/import tool

Thank you for your reply, David.
We are now gathering information about multi sites at WooCommerce. As we can see from the artcile, this can be done this way: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/ultimate-guide-multisite/ We are also waiting for some more votes from our clients. The more votes the feature gets, the sooner it can be taken into consideration for development. Then, the feature's implementation can be reconsidered.
Thank you for your patience!

Thanks, so far there is only 1 plugin that handles multisite woocommerce sites. It creates a unique complete dashboard and can make it so new products can be feed into each site on creation. The plugin is around £200 and I think if your solution did this also it would get a lot of traction. I would love to beta test if needed.

I am a multi-site host and regrettably this product will not work in its current form. Unfortunately I chased my tail for a long time and requested support through Roman a few times before it occurred to me this ability was not built in.

It is unfortunate. At present I do not know of a multi-site desktop software for woocommerce. David, which one are you using ?

I should say since your company seems less familiary with Wordpress multi-site that it is a core wordpress feature which simply needs to be 'turned on' https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

Once done, the same codebase can work for all your sites yet with the ability to assign unique themes or plugins to each.

It makes far more sense for most hosts.

So there is not just 'one database and one site' It is one database and unlimited sites.
* The database username and password would be the same for all sites.
* The store root url would different on the surface but really they would all point to the same public_html folder on the filesystem
* The important part is the database tables for each site are prefixed with their site ID so instead of just wp_woocommerce it would be wp_XX_woocommerce where their site ID is an integer in place of XX

In the attached image you can see my sites are prefixed with CM instead of WP which is always a wordpress setup choice and then a site ID of 37 so cm_37_ is my database prefix for every single table

I think it would be just a matter of have a place to insert wp_xx (cm_xx in my case) as part of your configuration and then you append woocommerce if is a woo table or posts / postmeta etc as in wp_xx_posts or wp_xx_postsmeta

I am happy to be a beta tester of this feature if you need someone.

Sincerely,

Jay

I should also say that the images on the file-system are also stored according to their site ID in this way:

public_html/wp-content/uploads/sites/XX

ie;
public_html/wp-content/uploads/sites/1/
public_html/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/
public_html/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/
etc..

So as long as you new their site ID you would know where their images / uploaded files were stored.

Very simple

Hello Emagicone

This feature - support for Wordpress Network (earlier called Multisite) will add so much more value to your software!

Wordpress Network is for webmasters managing multiple sites. Your Store Manager too is a programme more valuable if you manage more than one site - it justifies the cost and the learning curve involved to use the Store Manager.

I have used your Store Manager for Magento and it works great with a Magento multiple domain setup (using the same backend). So one extra benefit if you support this feature with Woocommerce is that it will be very easy for webmasters to move from Store Manager for Magento to Store Manager for Woocoommerce or the other way around because you are already familiar with the Store Manager.

So this is my feature request number 1, 2 and 3 for you Woocommerce Store Manager - it will really make your programme pure ecommerce dynamite!

Thanks, Michael

Hello Inna

Yes I understand it depends on complexity too. But as pointed out earlier in this thread Wordpress Network is now a core feature so it is no longer "just" a plugin - it will be solid/stable feature you develop software for.

I will also volunteer if you need beta testers at some point.

Wordpress Network makes it very easy to update plugins and themes accross a network. But it does not help managing products on different sites within a network. This is what the woocommerce store manager will do perfect. I have looked for other solutions but they either more expensive or very complex or usually both. If you offered the Network/multi site support as an add on to the regular Woocomerce Store Manager licence I would definately purchase it too...

Thanks, Michael

Hello David,

Thank you for your reply.

Please note, the Multi-site in WooCommerce Store Manager - is not a default option - to let it work you need to set the settings in the system of the sites, and our Store Manager support it.

Please check these articles how to install wordpress multisite and how to set up the network.
