ChatGPT and Tags

I am absolutely thrilled that we are using ChatGPT for our shop through eMagicOne. It is a fantastic tool that generates really good work. The output is highly professional, especially after I created my own prompts. I am fully satisfied and have achieved significant savings on wages for people who previously handled these tasks for me.

ChatGPT can generate many things, such as descriptions and headlines, and it can also create other elements related to the product itself. However, one thing I am struggling with at the moment is getting it to generate tags. I would really like us to be able to create tags, just as we can generate meta titles and meta descriptions on my shop https://www.ctiparty.dk/.

Is there a possibility to set it up so that we can also generate tags based on product descriptions and product names? Ideally, it would be great if we could, for example, instruct it to generate 10 tags for each product.

I see tags as a powerful tool for the shop, especially when customers click on a product. For instance, if they are looking at a white balloon, tags like 'white items' and 'wedding' could make it easier for them to find related products. I would love for ChatGPT to automate this process, allowing me to set up a prompt that defines exactly what it should do.

Thank you for using our software and sharing your feedback with us!

As the Tag field contains values that should be added to Tags prior to adding to the product, that is why it was not added yet. We'll consider adding Tags in future versions.

At the same time, if ChatGPT for some reason generates the tag incorrectly, or the response might include any explanations, technical texts, or errors, Store Manager most likely will not be able to determine it and will create a tag with the response. We'll think how to overcome such behavior.

We'll keep you updated once the feature is available!

I can partially agree with you that ChatGPT can fail. However, it largely depends on which version of ChatGPT you are using and how skilled you are at crafting prompts. The prompts you provide are quite good, but I have invested time in optimizing my own prompts to generate correct title tags and precise meta descriptions.

Of course, errors can still occur, but it is rare. If we say there is one error out of 1,000 products, it is a minimal proportion that could potentially cause harm. Naturally, results can also be checked manually, but if we can automate the process and save time, we are also saving money.

The biggest advantage of this approach is that we reduce labor costs. At the same time, we ensure that the result is professionally executed. This is exactly where we hit the mark: saving on wages while delivering a more professional output.
