Product attributes on main Product Page

I've already asked and I've already been answered, anyway I think your developers should take this into consideration a little bit more...

I'm in the need to work with attributes of my products (clothing colors) and it's very complicated to be able to find a specific attribute within thousands, if I need to be helped with results visualisation (and possibly even ordering).

Applying a filter for a specific attribute does not solve all of the needs, as this option would not allow to filter between "BLACK", "Black" or "black".
Further filters which may be applied at the moment are only possible on fields showed on screen, and not on attributes then...

I perfectly understand that adding such a feature to a program like MSM might result in slowness and impossibility to use the program efficiently (this is a Magento limit and power anyway), but I personally think that if the user might choose between a maximum amount of attributes to work on, at the same time, and might be patient for a permutation table to be built (temporary or whatever), this would even greatly increase the USABILITY of an already very powerful tool...

At the moment, to reach this result, I use Magento frontend... :-(((

Thank you and best regards from Italy

Dear Sergiy,
Ira on 19.03 sent me this email (on a different email address anyway...):

"Hello Michele M.,

Thank you for your patience.

Actually, for the attributes that are displayed at Search window, Filter could be customized:
http://screencast.com/t/M9yBlgkR
http://screencast.com/t/Q0u06Edl5
same filter could be used at the main product Grid:

Regarding to other comments, please submit feature request at:
http://support.emagicone.com/609746-Magento-Manager-Feature-Request

and our project manager would check the possibility to implement the features in future."

Hope this helps.

ok, give me some time please
I'll discuss with our development team about this.
By the way, we are working on Product Grid Attributes Management for columns.
In the next Release you can select what kind of attribute to show in the Product Grid

Dear Sergiy,
thanks a lot for following my (and others') request.
From the picture you enclosed, I guess this feature will be greatly appreciated.

Obviously, this will DEFINITELY slow down performance, if abused.

I guess that adding up to three or four attributes to the list won't really make MSM unusable... maybe the opposite... :-)

Good work.

it's up to you how many attributes to use.
As a rule - you should use less attributes for presentation in the Product Grid to speed up execution time.
P.S. One restriction for number of Attributes: you can turn on 54 attributes in the Grid.

Main problems for user are the following :
- connection speed
- operation time of host

If you want to increase work - please use more power hardware in this case. :-)

By the way - please wait for next Release and try yourself this feature.

Hi Sergiy,

Thanks for that update.
Do you have an ETA for this feature and the next release?

Also, will these additional columns be available in the filter builder? (see screenshot)

Thanks.
