Automated Translation Module

Bing Translate is free for 2.000.000 chars monthly. I tested it is working. Although sometimes it gives connection errors, succeeding after 2-3 clicks. Paying also another choise, it is upto user. I bought a module, but it is doing it 1 by 1. It takes too much time as if adding new products.

I have developed this feature on my store as extension , however it is not perfect and only translate limited things , i want to translate all attributes and product information.

I am using paid google translation option and i dont mind paying at all.

This is a very good feature and very important if you want to target multiple countries , As it will not only improve SEO for products but also looks very professional and load product faster.

Please develop this and i would be the first for adding it , I dont mind paying it for customisation as store manager use direct SQL function so it is very fast compared to my web version

i forgot to add that we have mutlistore setup so xyz.de has german languge , xyz.it has italy and so on , so every store has different language as per the locale setting

payment for Goolge API is not an issue at all as we are already paying every month and this addon is a life saver ,

Think this way

We are saving countless hours every day on translating product information using google CSV translator , it is free but it has a lot of issue

sometime we need to waster whole day to translate products.

This add on is nothing compared to what we pay in human hours that is being wasted every day.

On top of this , No one in magento community has this kind of add on available and i bet you there are lot of advanced seller who is looking for this solution so in long term it will not help us but also help you as people will buy your product only for this add on

I would seriously advise to accept this as this is a very good and innovative idea.

Cost is never a concern for such a valuable add on

Which fields do you want to translate ( Product title, Short or Long description)?
We list on multiple marketplaces so we use following things
1. Product Title
2. Long Description
3. Bullet point 1 to Bullet point 5 [ there are 5 bullet points , we have created 5 bullet point attribute , same as amazon products , So we list only once on our magento store and it will comply with Amazon listings and ebay as well ]
4. Optional attributes ,it will be good if this is also converted [ Meta description/keywords/title , Image Label, URL key ] this will be useful for SEO purposes
5. Short description [ We do not use it but many sellers used this so its important for them ]


- Do you want to automate translation in machine mode only OR with manual approve ?
We only need automated , No manual approval require

- Do you want to implement manual translation with moderation?
No

- Do you want to organizge bulk translation (with replace, auto-translation)?
Yes this will be useful , specially if we already have thousands of inventory

- Do you want to translate language by language method OR all in one translation for both languages?
Very important point , Let me explain in detail

Most sellers now have mutli store setup in magento ,so only one magento installation with multi region website

We have following live website

xyz.co.uk [ For UK ]
xyz.de [ Germany , locale is german language ]
xyz.es [ Spain , locale is Spanish language ]
xyz.fr [ France , locale is French language ]
xyz.it [ Italy , Locale is italian language ]
so on

So , the add on should be based on the store locale language , If we have german language as a local and our Main store is co.uk so it will translate products from xyz.co.uk and update product information on xyz.de with german language and also updates in spain/france/italy and so on

So when we run update language so it will translate all products and store information into their respective locale language. [ in one go however selecting single or multiple category for translation will be a useful feature so it wont create unnecessary load on the server]

Please let me know if you dont understand anything and i will explain other way.

Hi guys,
I didn't see this post and I had posted one more similar just today...
I need the some addons on Store Manager because I have the some problems and I spend many ours every days to translate the products for each shop view.
We working on sub domain for the languages and we replicate and traslate all the attributes and all the categories manually...
Belive me its an hard work!
So if you pay monthly for the Google Translate API is not to much expensive and they give you back a medium/high translation quality.
Think about guy, the ecommerce exploding in Europe just in the last 2/3 years, I have a lot of customers every day ask me that they want to go online with their products...
We need this addon

Consider this:
- in Europe the eCommerce market going up about 25-55% per year (it depend from the State).
- in Europe we have a big economical agreement but we speak more different languages

I can continue if you want to give you more and more motivations....
