SKU in custom options

In custom options under the SKU value now appears the custom option id. which I don't think is a good feature because when a customer places an order, in the order section I do not know what size or colour they are ordering. It never use to be like this before. This is only recent. Can we please go back to the original way.

One small update - those SKU were auto-generated - that's why you can see numbers

I tried putting SKU in manually but it doesn't work. All that happens is it still creates it's own ID which appears after I manually add my SKU value. I don't know how to get rid of it. It doesn't bother me if it is in the backend, but when it shows up on the customer order then this doesn't look good. How do I fix it?

3. Show us how Store Manager will replace this value after that.

Give us step by step screenshots OR video will be great for understanding of problem.

I saw the video.. I will try to use the exact steps you used.

You see when I add custom options I don't immediately post changes to the web.. I add more products. As I am doing that I check all my work before posting to web, and then it is when I notice that those values come up in SKU. Next time I add custom options I will immediately post changes to web and I will check to see if this happens.

Actually, Custom Option name is not unique, so Store Manager generated new sku - in other case, it would not allow to import Custom Options.
We will add ability to manage skus for Custom Options in the way you requested, but we should mention, that Custom Option created in such way would not be updated during import.

We will make changes in future releases.
