You are right. Something like this was added to another Store Manager. Here it is screenshot from PrestaShop Store Manager.
I think, that CMS editor support is not problem for us.

It would be great to be able to manage CMS blocks and pages. An import and export capability would be very useful for migration of changes from development to product too.

My point in case. something wrote in 2015, a customer writes in 2017, and now is considered in 2018, because it has 12 votes. so its taken, near 4 years to get this even on the roadmap as a possiblity???? flawed system.

For now, unfortunately, we are not able to implement this feature personally for you due to the high-level of task complexity and really tight tech schedule -we are currently working on Magento 2.3 supported version, and on version for MAC users

Having option to manage CMS pages & Blocksform Store manager would definitely help managing Magento Store more conveniently, also import and export feature should be there, as blocks are also displayed on Category and Products pages, and need frequent updates of content. So I upvote this to push the development
