Speed up Quickbooks Product Sync

Can you please speed up the time it takes to upload product quantities from Quickbooks to Magento. Downloading orders into QB is relatively fast, but product quantity uploads takes hours.

We have about 3000 products in QB, but only about 1/2 of them are tied to magento .
