Currently, Store Manager for Magento orders import is for transferring orders history not for accounting purposes. Order numbers and IDs are auto-incremented, it means that after the upload all orders will have new order numbers and IDs (the ones indicated in the file will be ignored). It would be nice to improve this import and add the possibility to import order numbers and other accounting data such as Invoice number as specified in the import file.
Please vote for the feature if you would like it to be added in future versions.

it makes no sense being, for historic purposes only. it's a must have change. or the feature should be removed. as your program is used in a production/live environment for most of your your users. people use the feature to backup to prevent loss, either server issues or, corruption, then would reimport thinking, that everything is as is. they are unaware this is not the case. and accounting purposes is a generalised term. its standard legal practise. you name another program that backs up orders, and alters the data upon import??? i can't think of any. can you. it needs to be clearly stated. prior to purchase. on your versions price page, that this is function should not be used in a live environment for accounting purposes. order/invoice and quotation are auto-incremental at present.
