Can you please provide us with your store connection configuration (you can save it at Preferences[F12] / Actions / Save current configuration), example of the table (at your file) and admin access to your store, so we could check what caused the issue for you.

We have checked the issue and noticed that if to manage descriptions at Internet Explorer (browser) - the same issue occurrs, so it is a Internet Explorer bug.
We are using Internet Explorer at Store Manager, so the same issue occurred at Store Manager.
