Restrict Access in desktop manager

We are setting a client up with Mijoshop and have been looking for a Point Of Sale Solution that would play nice (so to speak) with it and are looking at your desktop manager and so far, it looks really nice and I think it will be a good solution. The only concern I have is we won't want everyone who can use the POS to be able to edit products. Is it possible to configure your program so that someone can simply access the Point Of Sale feature only unless they have a password/login to be an admin?

We are planning to add 'Users and Permissions' functionality, that allows to set restrictions on Store Manager functionality usage. During next year it will be added, but, unfortunately, we do not have ETA for this release.

Great! With my clients current staff, I'm not as concerned but if they hire someone else, it could become an issue so as long as you will be adding the feature for sure next year, I don't think this will be a reason to hold us up from recommending your product to them now.
