A unique SKU. I believe an all numeric value would suffice. For example we have a UPC of 13 characters (all numeric).
It would be nice to able to specify the starting number for the SKU sequence in the Store Manager. For example 0000000000001 and then the system follows with 0000000000002 etc.
I'm guessing it would also be great to stop automatic SKU generation at some point and restart it if necessary.

1. Auto-increment SKU id format is not secure option - in this case anybody will be able to control the number of items ( from 0 to .... 10000 SKU)
2. May be it's better to organize special SKY generation option in preferences - in this case you'll be able to set special format for SKU generation according to Magento specification.
