Why do you need XML format for export ?

I want to upload products to market.yandex.ru, torg.mail.ru, hotprice.ua, market.yandex.ua, price.ua to these marketplaces. it needs xml. I didn't investigate much, maybe csv also ok. And also, I am planning to have dealers around world. again i will need to distribute xml to them.
