Multiple Select Search on word - to not show all the different languages

Searching in Multiple Select is cumbersome. You can only sort but it will look at the entire range, so only the first field. And to make that even worse, if you've got multistore it also adds the translations. Please make possible filtering on one of the options.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Can you please specify with the screenshot the exact search form you mean, since we have several in the software.
Also, it would be nice if you can share with more details about how do you want it to work.

Looking forward to your reply!

Products Search / Store View Default Values > 'Select attributes to search in' + Search Options + AND/OR goes back to default.

Well for starters it would be nice if all the translations do not show in the field, or maybe that they only do when you select the storeview that has that translation.

Preferably it should work similarly like a Dropdown where one can select / unselect the products that have the options or combination of the ones one wants to see.

If that is not possible then a working search *per option* would be nice in the Custom Filter. Currently it also shows all the translations as well and it only filters on the *entire* line of options, not one individually: you have to input correctly all the options.

So if you have a product that has X,Y and you search for X, it not shows it because it wants you to input X,Y, and even searching for Y,X is not working, it has to be precise. Well, if you've got many options for that product then it is impractical to say the least.

Can you please specify for me what do you mean under " options" and under "translations" ao I could understand your reply fully. Screenshots are highly appreciated

On this stage, I would like to inform you about other filters we have and how they work

1.Filter row in products grid. Can be added in this way >> https://www.screencast.com/t/rf7nY7ynuqJJ >> https://www.screencast.com/t/juyEc1eD There you can choose condition for search >> https://www.screencast.com/t/hcvHJgHpG8K Use _ to represent singe character and % to represent any series of characters >> https://www.screencast.com/t/KbaL2niox1fi You can also search right in the column >> https://www.screencast.com/t/5ncf7BYaTv

2. You can also additionally activate "Custom filter" that offers more complex search >> https://www.screencast.com/t/gCQc4o9HgsUE

3. "Show Parent products only" >> https://www.screencast.com/t/YsWIlgVuBzjjYou can use this filter if you do not want all the associated products to be shown in the products grid but only main products ( for example, show only configurable product and do not show associated child products)

Hope you can find these filters useful.

Looking forward to your reply!

Well, Attributes have options and these options can have a different language per storeview.
So if you are creating the Option 'Wine' and afterwards you have a German and Dutch storeview, it will be shown in that row as:

> Wine,Wein,Wijn

And when you later select another option, for instance 'Cheese' which is also translated it will say:

> Wine,Wein,Wijn,Cheese,Kase,Kaas

Do you see how quickly this become confusing when you add more and more options? And even the order matter, so it also can be:

> Cheese,Kase,Kaas,Wine,Wein,Wijn

And the custom filter, with many options selected, will have you select the *precise* order.
It is not practical.
