Mostly first photo is default choosed while adding products. After drag & drop photo, selecting Base, Small, Thumb photo clicking one by one is time spending. If it automatically select, I will just drag & drop. If any different action, I unselect it besides select it.

Maybe after three years you could make this request come true? I've recently uploaded a lot of images and everything would be faster if I wouldn't have to click three times every time. Uploading photos should then be made in background, because now we're waiting for the upload few seconds instead of just moving to another product.

Well, with multiple images there is a problem with choosing right image. But what about when uploading only one image? Automatically checking those fields would speed things up.
Additionally, for multiple images, you could set a rule that if there are three images with names 123456.jpg, 123456_2.jpg and 123456_3.jpg it would choose base, small and thumbnail basing on the priority of the file name (3 being the lowest).

But what should we do, if a user doesn't know such rule for image apply?
Similar rules will complicate the work with the program. :-(
