Right now we are working on Store Manager for Magento - Enterprise Edition
This task "Add option to import only enabled products" was added to development plan.
I'm waiting for final release of Magento EE version. After that I'll try to refresh this task.
I guess it'll be in winter.

There are no new updates for this subject.
As an quick decision - I recommend to use expression with SQL - according to this article - https://www.mag-manager.com/useful-articles/how-to/how-to-input-missing-data-and-modify-existing-on-the-fly-by-means-of-expressions-in-the-process-of-magento-import/

You'll be able to change field of products according to it's status.
For example - to change date or price where product is not enabled.
After that you'll be able to run SQL and drop products from base with thise field.
