Magentos frontend will always display a thumbnail picture of the product image, even when there is only 1 picture of the product. To disable this you have to click "exclude" in the images tab for every article that was newly imported. It would be nice to have the feature to auto exclude thumbnails on import.

i respect that.
i just found out that eMagicOne imports dont even set values in catalog_product_entity_media_gallery_value.
especially the disabled value wich is set to 0 when imported with magento backend. so i can't simply mass exclude
all articles after the import.

Hello Bjoern!
You can import attribute Media Gallery Exclude.
All you need is to set 1 or 0. It's equal - 1 means - Exclude, 0 means - not exclude
if you have 3 images, you can use this text in field: 1*0*1 - example: exclude, not exclude, exclude
where - star (*) is Exclude delimeter ...

Hello Sergiy,
thank you for your reply, i just finished testing it.
It works properly on new articles. But it doesnt modify existing articles.
Same for status: all new imports are set to active, even if i declare status as deactivated.
and this also doesnt modify existing articles. I cant deactivate existing articles via automated import.
