yes ! But as name pattern would be good if we can use something like product-name-category-manufacturer-sku.* (with character lenght and filename convention check)
and second problem with bach rename: Magento has files in subfolders like a/b/cname.jpg. And i didnt find a way to batch rename while all images stay in original folders.
If i copy them out hom on earh can i then put them back + somehow i shuld also replace old file name in magento database with new filename - so these are reason why we cant use any external batch rename tool - toll must be built into ;agent editor .

Sorry, I don understand. What is SEO multi editor ? Inside MAg editor ? I didnt come across this section ... or you reffer to some separate application ?
