image cache as is is for local cache i think .. not for server
its diificult whe nyou do something inside editor to almost always go to backend of magento ant the manually flush bloc cache .. or fluch Fpc ( full pabe cache)

Next stage is Magento 2 support. I"m talking about official Release, not RC.
