IceCat Product Catalogue Integration Feature Request

Please vote for the feature if you would like it to be added in future versions.

Currently, IceCat addon offers a possibility to retrieve products data from IceCat Catalog and add it to existing Magento products. It would be great to be able to export products from IceCat catalog and add it to Magento store.

This feature will be helpful because there is manual instruction in pdf for some products on the IceCat.

IceCat offers a few more tabs to be added for a product https://prnt.sc/6u9RPFHg13jb That would be great if IceCat addon allows them to be uploaded.

Hi, May I know when is the next update? It's been a while since this addon has anyupdate. In the Sync tab (Disable Wizard Mode), we need to double click on the Manufacturer or the EAN column to check "Update Name", "Update Short Description", "Update Long Description", "Update Manufacturer","Update Thumbnail" and "Update Gallery Images" all at once. Hi, Are you able to add search categories by name under the "icecat" tab? For example "water skis" is located in root -> sports & recreation -> water sports equipment -> water skis. Why we need to search? When we have an item part no. and we go to icecat website the search, it will tell us what category it is in. It is certainly useful to be able to import other fields in the catalog icecat . For example, in my store I imported the items and then I made the synchronization with the plugin : unfortunately , however, this plugin only picks up the description and images . if you open the data-sheet icecat Provides you that there are many other information ( such as specs ) that could be imported . Hello, the php bridge and FTP connection are good, but please consider that many clients could be on ADSL connection where the upload speed is just 1 Mbps, as my connection is at the moment. My server, instead, besides being very powerful with 8 cores + 32GB RAM... also has 200-500 Mbps speed. I hope improove speed when syncronize specification only (sometimes takes hours). For example: - option to uncheck all attribute columns in one click - avoid descriptions and images download when not required (columns unchecked) Thanks According to ICECat Addon algorithm you can get Images and Description if selected product doesn't have one. Making the BIG (IceCat) images smaller when upload to shop. 500px will by big enough. Some images from IceCat are 5000px BIG. With 30.000 products and maby 15.000 BIG images importing will give problems with the hoster and I think also the shop speed!! Hello Jos! Thanks for comment.
