Yes, you can use the expression during the source import. Please note, that Store Manager requires a specific format for the correct sources import (depending on the assigned sources to each product). Please check the following article for details:

For example, to set the expression for the sources based on the quantity field set the expression like this one:
CONCAT('Default>',[CSV_COL(x)],'>',1,'>',2)
In case you have active Support and Update services, you are welcome to contact us via e-mail and we will gladly help you with the expression setup free of charge.
